Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und noch mehr. Es sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Einfach toll!! Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.

We love the warmth and weather that Florida offers and booking with the Sanfords is another blessing. Thank you for quick, detailed communication when booking and also fast deposit refunds when exiting.
The home was complete with everything needed and then some. We found it all in good condition and easy to cook and live! It was clean when we arrived and Sabrina and Stephan made sure that they enlightened us and answered all of our questions which gave us a good understanding of #1 how the pool system works. It is very evident that they care deeply about us having a great time with them, and we much appreciate that! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the surrounding canal was such a beautiful view. We enjoyed the safe and friendly neighborhood and made friends with many! Our family came to visit and had a great time utilizing the pool and relaxing in the surroundings. Our two year old granddaughter was thrilled that there was a child size bed for her! ?
We thank you for sharing this home as we don’t share a pool very well, so we are grateful for this opportunity and for you being great hosts.

The home was very clean which was wonderful. Nice quiet neighborhood. Comfortable bed and furniture. Towels and bed linens could be updated. Some plastic drink ware would be nice for use outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Linens and towels are replaced on a regular basis, we don’t allow stained or damaged linens or towels in the home, but some might have faded and will be replaced soon.

Wir waren zu viert für zwei Wochen zum zweiten Mal in der Villa Manatee und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Villa liegt ruhig und wunderschön an einem Kanal in einer sehr schönen Wohngegend. In der Nähe befinden sich Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Walmart,…
Sabrina und Stephan haben uns ein Tag nach unserer Ankunft herzlich begrüßt und uns alles erklärt.

Wir waren eine Woche in der Villa Manatee und hatten einen Mega schönen Urlaub in Cape Coral. Wir waren zu 4 in der Villa und es war mehr als ausreichend Platz für uns. Im Haus hat es an nichts gefehlt. Der Pool ist groß und tief, optimal zum schwimmen und tauchen ;). Die Villa ist sehr ruhig gelegen. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es viele Restaurants und Einkaufs Möglichkeiten. Sabrina und Stephan begrüßten uns am nächsten Tag und erklärten uns die wichtigsten Dinge und gaben uns noch tolle Tips für diverse Aktivitäten. Der Checkout war auch total easy. Wir hoffen bald wieder zu kommen. Viele Grüße

Im April 23 waren wir nun schon zum vierten Mal bei Stephan und Sabrina zu Gast, diesmal in der wunderschönen Villa Manatee.
Wir haben wieder einen tollen Urlaub gehabt, nicht zuletzt durch die hilfreichen Tipps von Stephan und Sabrina, was die Unternehmungen betraf.
Die herzliche Art der Beiden haben wir wieder sehr genossen und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Urlaub in Cape Coral !

erneut haben wir über euch gebucht und waren wiederholt begeistert, von der Villa (diesmal Manatee) und auch dir bzw. deiner unkomplizierten Art und Abwicklung. Auch die Schwiegereltern waren begeistert und konnten den Urlaub genießen. Und Opa konnte mit seinen Enkeln einige Fische am Steg angeln. Im Haus hat es wieder an nichts gefehlt, alles war sauber und die Fragen konntest du mir schnell über Telefon oder Mail beantworten und dabei helfen.
Wenn es uns wieder in die Gegend zieht, seid ihr erneut unser erster Ansprechpartner.

Tolles Objekt in guter Lage. Verwalter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles wie beschrieben. Wären gerne länger geblieben.

Pool warmth was appreciated. No floaties for pool. House was WELL appointed. Great location. There could be extra charges that YOU could be charged for IE: Electricity for heat/air and pool. Read carefully.

We just ask to remove them if no one uses the pool anymore so they don’t block the skimmer and disrupt the circulation. The allowance for electricity is generous, fair, and disclosed. Awesome house. Located on a freshwater canal. Pool was nice. Setup of the house was excellent.

We stayed at Villa Manatee from November 25th to December 6th 2021 and had the most relaxing vacation we have had in years. The house the pool and the canal were all perfect. My husband caught bass out of the canal while I lounged at the pool. Stephan told us about different things that were going on in Cape Coral, Sanibel and Captiva Islands, we enjoyed them all. We loved fishing on the causeway and then returning “home” to swim and barbecue. It was just the best vacation we have had in a long time. Thank you Stephan for everything. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

It would be difficult to find anything wrong with this house and Sanford Realty. They were both awesome! Cleanest house ever. Fantastic location and a very quiet neighborhood.

The house was very clean and looked as described in the listing. However, the beds were all very uncomfortable. I have rented several homes through VRBO and have never had the experience I did this time with check in/out process. Our group was all adults and very capable of reading and following the house “rules” without being instructed to not sit on the furniture in wet swimwear etc. I have always treated every home I have rented with respect just as I would my own home. I found it very frustrating and inconvenient to have to take time out of my vacation for this check IN/OUT process. Other than the uncomfortable beds and this checking IN/OUT process we had a very nice stay in the house. The house was very clean.

We have, indeed especially for this house, received extra Kudos for how comfortable other guests have found the beds that are in question here. Beds and mattrasses are not the same for everyone, it depends on personal and physical requirements, but we strive to meet the highest standards. As for check-in and check-out – we have guest from the U.S. and from all over the world, and in most cases it’s a very casual affair. Usually our guests, not only those from abroad, appreciate being provided with some guidelines and tips about the area like fun destinations, restaurants, or special events. We also found that it does not hurt to talk about things that some find self-explanatory because others don’t. Yes, we had it happen (and not only once) that upholstery was ruined because someone sat on it with wet bathing suits; but we also point out other things e.g., how to handle trash in the Florida climate to ensure the home will be in good shape for the next guests. We take responsibility for the well-being of our guests and the house they reside in, we want to meet our guests, and we want to answer their questions in person because we care.

I’ve been meaning to write this review since our return from Villa Manatee the week of July 10 – July 17, but just got so caught up with being back to the grind at work, I kept forgetting. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Manatee. The location was very residential, it made us feel like we really “lived” there for the week. We had three young boys with us who thoroughly enjoyed the pool and fishing in the canal. They bought cheap Walmart fishing poles and I have to say that was one of our best purchases, they were entertained on the dock every single day. The house was clean, very well taken care of, and had everything we needed to pretend it was our own house for the week. We had a couple little issues that Stephan was able to have his handyman stop by to fix, so it didn’t bother our vacation in the slightest. We would return again for a future stay. Thanks Stephan and Sabrina for allowing us to use your place!

This was a very nice and clean house with lots of space. It was in a great location close to restaurants and grocery store. We had a great time here!

Our time spent at Villa Manatee was wonderful. The listing was as advertised, the house well maintained and appointed. We had a few rainy days and never found ourselves to be bored. Owners were polite and easy to work with. Would definitely stay again!

This house was everything and more of what we thought it was. It is very clean and spacious. Stephan was a very good host, our neighbors were very nice. The pool was very clean. Just a short drive over to Fort Myers, everything we could ask for.

Excellent time spent at this wonderful home in Cape Coral. It is spacious, on a canal, and we loved hanging out in the heated pool! My family and I hope to visit again next year!

I would recommend this house to anyone. The accommodations were lovely and they had EVERYTHING you would need. The pool was great and very relaxing. I was a little surprised by Stephen's abrasiveness, which bordered rudeness considering the reviews, but he didn't stay with us so I guess it was all good!

We are always glad if our guests enjoy one of our homes. It is troubling, however, that stating certain rules and guidelines to maintain the house and its integrity in the neighborhood are perceived as abrasive or even rude by some. Asking guests, for example, to leave the BBQ grill in the condition it was found upon arrival (clean) if they opt out of having it cleaned by our staff is not rude but standard; also asking guests to treat the house with respect is usually not considered abrasive, and the owners of the homes we take care of, call it responsibility. We take pride in treating our guests with respect, even if some do not return the favor. In addition, Annette wanted us to pay for their VRBO booking fee, we felt incredibly sad about it.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Manitee house. Being on the canal was perfect. Awesome communication with the realtor. We would definitely stay at this property again.

The house was just as advertised. This is our first rental with a pool and we thoroughly enjoyed many afternoons relaxing in the pool area. The management team was very responsive to both emails and phone calls; great to work with. We would not hesitate to consider this property in the future.

Clean and a great location

I cannot say enough great things about this property!! My family visits Cape Coral several times a year (this was our 4th rented house this year alone) and this house was by far my favorite! It is super clean, meticulously kept, well stocked with everything you would need, and in a great location. The owners were wonderful and super responsive. I made a mistake during the check in process and they were very accommodating. I truly can’t rave enough about it. The pool area was lovely and spacious. The house was laid out just right. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out. I loved drinking my coffee and watching the sun rise over the canal. The kids also enjoyed feeding the turtles. We all can’t wait to go back!

The owners of this property are so very kind and gracious. The home is well equipped, clean, and nicely located.

Villa Manatee was the nicest place for us to be during the stay-at-home mandate for the covid-19 virus. Enjoying the lovely lanai, pool, and boat dock on the canal, shaded with two palm trees helped us to relax a bit among all the uncertainties, The owners, Stephan and Sabrina, were so accommodating making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our month's stay. Because of the escalating circumstances in Ohio, we decided we better head for home a week early, much to our dismay. We do have very nice memories of our stay there, though, and thank the Sanfords for such a nice , clean, well-maintained house and yard..

We enjoyed our month stay at Villa Manatee. Stephan and Sabrina were very quick to address our concerns which were handled to our satisfaction. Neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the lanai by the wide canal.

Wie auch schon vor einigen Jahren in der Villa Alexandra haben wir uns in diesem Jahr in der Villa Manatee pudelwohl gefühlt. Die Häuser sind hervorragend geschnitten und die Ausstattung lässt keinerlei Wünsche übrig. Die Villa Manatee ist hervorragend gelegen, alle wichtigen Orte werden in kürzester Zeit von dort erreicht. Von den Nachbarn bekommt man fast nichts mit, auch auf dem Kanal geht es sehr ruhig zu. Schön war es, einmal einen waschechten Garage Sale bei den Nachbarn mitzuerleben. Ich kann die Villa und insbesondere die Vermieter Stephen und Sandra nur wärmstens empfehlen. Der Kontakt und die Hilfestellungen waren grandios. Vielleicht auf bald.

Wir, eine Familie mit 2 Kindern, hatten das Vergnügen diesen Sommer in der Villa Manatee Urlaub zu machen. Und es war wirklich ein Vergnügen. Angefangen von der Buchung, der Abwicklung der Buchung sowie die Zahlungsmodalitäten war alles perfekt organisiert. Stephan Sanford und seine reizende Frau Sabrina wissen wirklich worauf es ankommt. Die Villa selbst ist für uns vier sehr großzügig angelegt gewesen, einfach ein Traum. Der erste Eindruck hat sich auch im Fortlauf unseres Aufenthalts nicht trügen lassen. Die Villa ist sauber, aufgeräumt und zugleich sehr gemütlich und wohnlich, so dass man sich von den ersten Minuten an zu Hause fühlt. Die Vorort Betreuung von Stephan und Sabrina war professionell und angenehm. Ebenso gab es viele Tipps für die Freizeitgestaltung, Aktivitäten (Festivals, Konzerte, etc.) sowie von Restaurant Empfehlungen in der Umgebung. Allen voran muss der Pool erwähnt werden, einfach ein Traum, wenn man zu jeder Uhrzeit ganz einfach reinspringen kann. Vor allem die Kinder haben ihren Spaß gehabt. Auch für die Strandausflüge ist bestens vorgesorgt, so gibt es in der großzügigen Garage Sonnenschirme, Strandstühle und Kühlboxen zu ausborgen. Das man sich während des Aufenthalts so benimmt, als wäre die Villa seine eigene, versteht sich von selbst. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und haben den Urlaub in der Villa Manatee sehr genossen und können die Villa, aber vor allem auch Stephan und Sabrina als Gastgeber wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Haus befand sich in einem hervorragenden Zustand; es war alles sauber und gepflegt.
Wir fühlten uns durch die Instruktionen des Vermieter-Paares Stephan und Sabrina gut aufgehoben.
Als besonderes Highlight waren aus unserer Sicht die "Art Märkte" in Fort Myers.
Auch können wir den Besuch der Mini-Golf-Plätze in und um Cape Coral empfehlen.
Das gleiche gilt selbstverständlich auch für die Golf-Plätze in Cape Coral.

Diese Villa ist 100% weiterzuempfehlen.

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Töchter im Alter von 4 + 6 Jahren) waren im Oktober 2018 für 10 Nächte in der Villa Manatee und waren begeistert.
Wir waren 2015 bereits in der Villa Alexandra mit Freunden und deren Kindern und hatten damals erstmals Kontakt zu Stephan und Sabrina.
Kurzum, es gibt keinerlei Grund, irgendwas zu bemängeln. Die Villa ist in einem super Zustand, die Betreuung (Übernahme und Übergabe) klappten perfekt, freundlich und pünktlich. Absolut empfehlenswert.
Die Lage der Villa ist ideal zu Shoppingzentren etc. und natürlich mit dem tollen Blick auf den vorbeifließenden Kanal.
Wie werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir hatten im November wieder 3 wunderschöne Wochen “zu Hause” in Cape Coral.
Diesmal in der Villa “Mantee”. Auch in dieser Villa hat es uns an Nichts gefehlt. Sie ist
perfekt ausgestattet und die Betreuung duch Stephan und Sabrina ist nicht zu toppen.
Wir freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr!

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa verbracht. Das Haus war modern und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ließ keine wünsche offen. Wir können die Villa Manatee nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir durften die Villa mit Familie und Großeltern nutzen. Durch die tolle Aufteilung (rechts Schlafzimmer mit Bad und links Eltern- und Kinderschlafzimmer auch mit Bad) hatte jeder seinen privaten Bereich. Dazwischen ist das große Wohnzimmer mit Küche.
Die Villa liegt in einem schönen und ruhigen Wohngebiet direkt am Kanal. Zum Einkaufen, wie auch alle anderen Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf, ist es nicht weit. Je nach Verkehrslage dauert es zum Meer etwas länger, wobei man auch zum lokalen Cape Coral Yacht Club Beach gehen kann.
Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet und es ist alles da. Sie ist sehr sauber, wie auch der Pool.
Die Übergabe war problemlos und bei Fragen konnte man direkt jemanden erreichen. Generell war der Ablauf bezüglich Vertrag / Überweisung / Übergaben sehr professionell und unkompliziert.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen tollen und erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung und Anbindung

Vi blev taget rigtig godt imod af Sandford og frue.... Da vores ferie var slut... Gjorde vi pænt rent.... Tørrede endda støv af, selvom det var med slutrengøring... Ingen skulle kunne sætte en finger på vores aflevering af huset... Men hold da op.... Mr. Sandford kom brusende ind og var virkelig vred... Vi havde ikke sorteret affaldet korrekt... Vi vidste ikke bedre, vi har ikke sådan et system her i Danmark... Vi undskyldte, men Sandfort blev rigtig arrogant og nedladende, sagde at det ikke var en videnskab.... Det svarede til at han fortalte hvor toilettet var og vi sked lige ved siden af.... Den tone bryder vi os ikke om... Næste forår når vi kommer igen, bliver det bestem ikke dette hus vi lejer... Vi blev trukket 50$ og det er helt okay... Vi lavede en fejl... Men arrogancen havde vi ikke behøvet... Den ene stjerne er givet for Mr. Sandforts opførsel..... Ellers var huset til 5 stjerner...

Two couples stayed in the house and we are glad that they enjoyed their vacation, liked the house, and overall had a good time here. We strive to make our guests happy by ensuring the house including garage and trash cans are clean and do all we can to provide a 5-star experience. Initially when we came to the house for check-out on the day the guests left they told us that everything was great and how they had loved it; however, their attitude changed dramatically when some wrong-doing was discovered. Three out of the four people were embarrassed and apologized, one became very angry and it seems safe to assume that this feedback was written by the angry gentleman. Let’s explain what happened: Cape Coral enjoys subtropical climate – we always point out to guests and also have it in writing in our “what’s important about the house” booklet that organic trash like bones, meat-, fruit-, and vegetables-leftovers cannot be put in the trashcan as it is but needs to go in plastic bags because otherwise all kinds of critters and insects will be attracted and within a few days the trashcan and maybe the house as well will crawl with insects and maggots. And this is how we found the trashcan in question: “alive” and stinking to the heavens – with new guests coming in the same day which means that this receptacle must be cleaned by hand and scrubbed and treated with pesticides and disinfectants. The tone in which those facts were stated to the guests was not arrogant but informative; we do, however, not take any offense in their claim as we see that a language barrier may have played a role in this case. The additional cost is explained by the fact that the cleaning staff is charging for extra (stomach-turning) work like this and for all the materials named above had to be bought and utilized in this case to provide hygienic and safe, clean conditions for the new guests arriving that same day. It is sad that an explanation and pointing out a mistake in today’s world is viewed as arrogance.

Wir waren 11 Nächte in der Villa Manatee und fanden es super schön. Es war alles da was man brauchte und alles war in einem super sauberen und Top gepflegten Zustand der Barbequegrill war ein schönes Highlight aber auch der Pool war schön.
In der Garage gab es Strandstühle/Schirme, Fahrräder was wir auch als super empfanden.

Sowohl An- als auch Abreise liefen reibungslos und wir bekamen von der Fam. Sanford nich hilfreiche Ausflugstipps. Leider ging die Zeit zu schnell um aber wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa Manatee verbracht! Die Villa ist super ausgestattet und in echt ist es noch viel viel schöner als auf den Bildern! Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit, es war alles top! Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, eine sehr angenehme ruhige Gegend, alles ist in ein paar Fahrminuten erreichbar! Wir können jedem zu einem Urlaub in der Villa Manatee raten! Wir bedanken uns auch bei Stephan der uns sehr gut betreut hat!

Wunderschön und ruhig gelegen. Dennoch nur wenige km zu Wall Mart usw. Die Villa ist sowohl innen und außen so schön wie auf den Bildern. Die Betreuung durch Herr und Frau Sanfort war professionell und sehr freundlich. Das gesamte Anwesen ist gepflegt und sauber. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Wir (Familie mit vier Kindern) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

We stayed at Villa Manatee for almost 2 months. The location was better than expected – quiet, safe-feeling, quite close to grocery stores, restaurants. Beaches were basically a ½ hour away though, if you decide to leave the pool and lanai. The unit itself was exactly as depicted in the online photos and was very clean. It was very comfortable there and we quickly developed a relaxed "at home" feeling. Importantly, we found that dealing with the Sanfords (property managers) was, via email and in person, always a pleasant experience. We would gladly stay here again during our next visit to Cape Coral and we would definitely recommend this specific home to friends and family.

Villa Manatee Ideale Ferienvilla zum perfekten Urlaubsgenuss. Die großzügige Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage direkt am Kanal ist ein zusätzliches Highlight. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und sehr gepflegt. Der Del Prado Boulevard mit den entsprechenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist sehr nah. Die Betreuung durch Stephan und Sabrina Sanford ist so, wie man es sich nur wünschen kann. Aber das wissen wir schon seit 2005, denn seit diesem Jahr kommen wir regelmäßig nach Cape Coral und zwar immer in eine der Ferienvillen, die von Sanfords angeboten und betreut werden. Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa Manatee verbracht. Wir sind vom 20.10.-29.10.2015 in der Ferienvilla gewesen und wurden sehr freundlich von Stephan und Sabrina Sanford empfangen. Die Villa ist sehr gepflegt, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Hat man Fragen, stehen Stephan und Sabrina Sanford immer zur Verfügung. Es verlief alles reibungslos. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.
Allerdings waren 9 Tage sehr kurz. Wir waren vorher noch ein paar Tage in Orlando und Key West. Das nächste Mal bleiben wir länger.
Man kann wunderschöne Ausflüge nach Sanibel Island, Captiva, Naples,... machen.
Wenn wir die Fotos anschauen, bekommen wir Fernweh. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We stayed at Villa Manatee in Oct 2015 , What a Fantastic place ! the villa was just as advertised . Great location , in a beautiful setting on the water front , very clean and modern . Stephan and Sabrina very welcoming and efficient . We would highly recommend this Villa and the Realtors to everyone !

Super Feriendomizil - Wir haben uns in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es fehlt wirklich an überhaupt nichts. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die Terrasse mit Pool war der Höhepunkt. Morgens den Sonnenaufgang mit Kaffee auf der Terrasse genießen, das ist einfach Urlaub zu 100 Prozent. Alles für den perfekt gelungenen Urlaub. Natürlich wollen wir die Fam. Sanford auch noch positiv erwähnen, denn bei jeglichen Problemen hat Stephan sich gekümmert und alles wurde direkt erledigt. Spitze Service, den man nur weiterempfehlen kann.

"Villa Manatee Cape Coral”
Wir fühlten uns extrem wohl in der Villa. Beim öffnen der Eingangstüre sagten wir: WOW, was für ein Haus. Nachdem wir die restlichen Räume und Einrichtungen sahen wussten wir: Das ist das was wir wollten. Die Villa entsprach zu 100% den Angaben im Online Inserat. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Alles funktionierte und es ist auch alles vorhanden was man für das Tägliche so braucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Das Domizil werden wir sicherlich weiterempfehlen. Und für uns selbst gilt: WE WILL BE BACK.
